After a sell-out run last year, the egg are thrilled to welcome back one of the most popular shows in its history – SNOW MOUSE, returning in a brand new story to delight the youngest of children…

Winter has arrived in the woods, and the world is covered in white. A boy hurries to put on his winter clothes so he can run outside and play in a sparkly new world. Just when he’s beginning to feel a bit lonely, he finds a sleeping mouse buried under the soft white flakes. Sliding, tumbling and laughing, they explore the winter wonderland together and keep each other safe and warm from the winter freeze.

This new production is once again co-produced by the egg and the highly acclaimed Travelling Light, the team behind last year’s original Snow Mouse. The beautiful snowscape set has been designed by local artist, Edwina Bridgeman, whose work was recently seen at the egg in Can You See Me?, with puppets by Marc Perrett who has previously worked on BBC3, Aardman Animations, Green Ginger and is the founder of popular egg visitors, Stuff and Nonsense Theatre Company. Snow Mouse is performed by Gergo Danka, a regular voice actor and presenter on the Disney Channel and Kidsco television.

Join the two new friends on their adventures in a magical forest full of play, puppetry and music, in the Roper Room at the egg theatre from Thursday 15 December – Sunday 22 January. Tickets are on sale now at £8.50 adults / £7.50 children.
