We’re back after our summer break and our first theme of the autumn is HARVEST. You might hear stories of the grape and olive harvest in Greece, of blighted potatoes during the Irish famine, of bucolic workers in Soviet Russia. Or our writers might tell you tales of harvesting cells in a clinic in Switzerland, or harvesting organs in a basement in Brentwood… Whether our havests are the kind that you’d experience in the local parish church or read about in a Sunday tabloid, whether they make you laugh or make you shudder, we guarantee the stories will entertain you. Come along and find out more!
HARVEST WORKSHOP: Clare Reddaway runs occasional workshops in conjunction with Story Friday. The next short story workshop, on Saturday 5th September from 10.30-1pm, will be Bath Central Library and costs £4.00. There are still a couple of places available.
