For their 5th consecutive year, Fake Escape Theatre bring the acclaimed immersive ’20:20 Vision’ experience to Bath Fringe Festival, and this time they turn their attention to our planet’s final hours. 4 new plays by 4 writers under 30 will intertwine to tell various stories spanning relationships and continents, all played out in real time as the audience hurtle towards the end of the world…
We are looking for performers excited in working with brand new scripts created by emerging talent. Actors MUST have a base in Bath and be able to attend rehearsals between 1st – 8th June and the performances on the 8th, 9th and 10th June. As it is a Fringe project created on no budget, it is unfortunately a profit-share only project, but we often use the festival as a jumping-off point to produce larger scale productions of extended versions of the plays performed, which we generally like to use the same casts for. Therefore we believe it’s a really exciting opportunity and a uniquely intense and enjoyable workshop week, getting to grips with new work and forging new partnerships with like-minded creatives. We will also be as flexible as possible working around existing commitments and offer 2 complimentary tickets to each performer for the production.
If you are interested please e-mail detailing your suitability and interest in the role, along with any relevant supporting materials (Showreel etc.) by the 14th May 2017.
