Fiddler on the Roof
Join Bath Theatre School this July as they draw you into the heartwarming story of timeless traditions that define faith and family when performing the Tony award winning musical Fiddler on the Roof.
The story centres on Tevye, the father of five daughters, and his attempts to maintain his Jewishreligious and cultural traditions as outside influences encroach upon the family’s lives. He must cope both with the strong-willed actions of his three older daughters, who wish to marry for love – each one’s choice of a husband moves further away from the customs of his faith. Featuring the classics “To Life,” “If I Were A Rich Man,” “Sunrise Sunset,” “Matchmaker” and “Tradition,” Fiddler On the Roofprovides an uplifting celebration that raises its cup to joy! To love! To life!
With critics praising last year’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Techicolor Dreamcoat as a “visual spectacle”, which gave “an excellent opportunity to utilise and showcase their training in a high quality production,” make sure you get your tickets to this uplifting and fascinating show which is suitable for the whole family.
