To kick-start the summer holidays, why not take part in a massive LEGO build over Friday 25 & Saturday 26 July? Together with Bright Bricks, Pound Arts is asking for help in building a LEGO Stonehenge in the exhibition space at The Pound – LEGO-Henge!

Bright Bricks is one of the world’s most inventive design companies, creating unique models, mosaics and events from LEGO bricks. Rhys Knight from Bright Bricks will be in residence at The Pound over the two days creating the LEGO-Henge but he needs all the help he can get from the public to build the best model possible! Whatever age, drop into The Pound (for free) and help create this exciting project yourselves.

Pound Arts’ Creative Learning Officer, Naomi Silverton said “We’re really excited about building a giant Lego-Henge sculpture here at The Pound – what a great way to celebrate the start of the school holidays! Tell your friends and come and join in the fun!”

24183LEGO-Henge will stand on display in the arts centre over the summer. Pound Arts will also be screening The LEGO Movie on Friday 25 July at 4pm and Saturday 26 July at 11am and 4pm, so make a day of it.
