The Press on Static: “Beautifully executed, with a clever script and a sterling performance.” The Guardian “This is a show you won’t forget in a hurry, definitely dynamic, not static.” Wildfire Magazine “...the script by Tom Nicholas, who also directs captures the nervy confidence of nascent activism beautifully...New Model Theatre is a young company that already impresses.” Exeunt Magazine Tom Nicholas Tom Nicholas is a Playwright and Theatre Director based in Plymouth.  His first full length play, Static, toured to Exeter, Manchester, London and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.  It was described in no uncertain terms by The Guardian as, "Beautifully executed, with a clever script and a sterling performance.".  As Artistic Director of New Model Theatre he curates BETA in The Lab, Theatre Royal Plymouth.
