Her new hilarious show: Pop-Up Comic comes to Corsham Saturday 9 March

Zoe Lyons brings her brand new show for 2013 to The Pound for an evening of hilarious life experiences, caustic one-liners and to tackle the big questions like: Dog Prams – Why?

The comedian admits to ‘popping up in the strangest of places’ for her shows and is sure to share many comical anecdotes from previous tours.

A regular on television shows including Mock the Week, Dave’s One Night Stand, and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (where McIntyre announced  that Zoe was his favourite female comedian), Zoe puts her own stamp on comedy through her unique streak of sarcasm, wit and having an opinion about everything!

“Her force of personality is enough to overpower anyone in the audience still labouring under the delusion that women aren’t funny” – The Guardian

Zoe took her first steps down the comedy path in 2003 after training as an actor. She won the Funny Women Competition in 2004 and her debut Edinburgh show was nominated for the if.comedy newcomer award. In 2008 she won the Dave, Funniest Joke of The Fringe award.

“Zoe will be sure to leave no comical stone unturned with her sharp observations on life and self-deprecating tales. She’ll leave you laughing long after her curtain call”. Said Michael Cainen, Programme Manager at The Pound.
