Sara Pascoe is a human animal, and so are you. The show is a mixture of completely true stories about Tony Blair, Oedipus Rex and the wildlife of Lewisham, plus a load of stories that don’t sound true at all about Jason Donovan, Henry the Hoover and when God took over the tannoy in Sainsbury’s.  All animals evolved, but only humans evolved to the point of knowing they evolved. This troubling and confusing position is explored in a creative and honest way in a show about empathy and its limitations.

English post-punk innovation at its best. Catch former Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon, Lu Edmonds (former guitarist in The Damned), Bruce Smith (formerly of The Slits) and Scott Firth (talented multi-instrumentalist), commonly known as PiL, doing what they do best. Known for their experimental take on the traditional British punk genre, the band reinvented its connotations and expectations to create post-punk. NME even described the band as ‘arguably the first post-rock group’.

The Alarm of 2016 is a versatile modern assembly of musicians beginning and ending with founder member and lead singer Mike Peters and featuring long time keyboard player Mark Taylor with James Stevenson on guitar, Craig Adams (Bass), and Joe Strummer and The Mescalero’s former sticksman Smiley on drums. NB: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Paul Davies (who performed with the band on many shows during the ‘Release The Pressure’ tour) will be sitting in for Smiley on November 25th and 26th.
