Experience an evening of startling and eloquent dance that situates the audience right at the heart of the action. For his stark and poetic duet Chalk, Clinkard draws inspiration from the iconic cliffs of his hometown of Peacehaven near Brighton. Of Land And Tongue is a dance of odd sensations and unnameable experiences performed by an exceptional cast.

Strong opinions about performance? Practice is a chance for artists and audiences to see and test innovative contemporary performance and dance, then discuss how it could be developed. Four selected extracts of work-in-progress by solo performers and companies will be showcased for discussion with the audience. Many of these acts go on to develop full-length pieces which will be performed at ICIA and Salisbury Arts Centre.
