On Friday 1st November, Wiltshire Music Centre is hosting a very special concert. It is the culmination of a week long residential workshop hosted by CLIC Sargent for young people aged 16 to 24 who have all been diagnosed and treated for cancer – during the week they will be mentored by a range of professional musicians, exploring classical music and composing their own pieces which they will then perform at the concert on Friday. Also performing will be BBC Young Pianist of the year winner Cordelia Williams and students from the Royal College of Music. It’s set to a be a wonderful evening of inspiration, music, talent and fun!
It would be fantastic to have a great big audience there to support these young performers. Tickets for the concert are just £14 for adults, £5 for students and £1 for children, with proceeds coming to CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people.
Tickets are available in advance from http://www.wiltshiremusic.org.uk/whatsonbuy/clic-symphony-orchestra or by calling the Wiltshire Music Centre Box Office on 01225 860100.
