Devising & Story for Theatre
Monday 9 February
7pm – 9pm
The Natural Theatre Company HQ, Widcombe Hill
Devising for the theatre usually emerges through a collaboration of artists who use stimulus and imagination to create a world and tell a story. That stimulus can be anything from a script that already exists, a story (true or otherwise), a personal memory, a piece of music, art or an everyday object.
In association with Theatre Bath, Theatre Practitioner Alison Farina (Writer, Performer, Director and Artistic Director of Butterfly Psyche Theatre) will take you on a playful journey using games, theatre practice techniques, impro and bags of imagination to create your own world, your own story and your own piece of original theatre.
This is a hands-on, practical workshop, so please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Tickets cost £7 (including booking fees)
