Bristol-based actor musicians Fine Chisel, return to Bath with FLIT, FLAP & FLY, an exciting musical story for young audiences, set in a giant nest!

The squawking adventure follows a young chick’s frantic and funny journey towards independence, and his relationship with his fine-singing father. The audience enters the gigantic nest and joins the feathered pair, where they find themselves part of the daily life, get to learn birdsong, perhaps share a worm supper and get ready to take flight for the first time.

Flit, Flap & Fly is full of Fine Chisel’s trademark playful theatre and foot-stomping live music, in a heart-warming story about growing up and singing your heart out. The Bristol-based company’s recent sell-out visits to the egg theatre have included the musical drama for older children, Beneath The Blizzard, and the raucous Shakespeare-inspired knees-up, Midnight at the Boar’s Head. Flit, Flap & Fly has been a huge hit around the country this summer, where it has been performed in theatres, gardens, festivals and forests!

“Wistful charm and foot-tapping energy from an engaging company of boundless potential”
Lyn Gardner, The Guardian.

FLIT, FLAP & FLY is at the egg theatre from Saturday 30 September – Sunday 1 October.
