The award winning Exit Stage Left return to Bath’s Rondo Theatre with The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, a musical by William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin.

You’ll laugh out loud at this story of six young people, overseen by adults who barely managed to escape childhood themselves, vying to win the spelling championship of a lifetime.

A quirky cast of outsiders, for whom the Bee is their chance to finally shine, learn that winning isn’t everything and losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser.

This Tony-award  winning show proved a hit with critics and audiences alike on Broadway, praised for its charming cast, catchy numbers and hilarious script.

An unusual aspect of the show is that four real audience members are invited on stage to compete in the spelling bee alongside the six young characters ensuring that this production is U-N-I-Q-U-E.

Exit Stage Left, won the Rose Bowl Award for Best  Musical in 2011 which is a great achievement for such a small group.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, runs at the Rondo from July 16 to July 20 at 8pm.
Tickets cost £10 with concessions available.
