Two shows will keep little ones entertained at the egg theatre throughout half-term.
From Wednesday 25 – Friday 27 October, Peut-Être Theatre presents TIDY UP, a tidy dance theatre performance which turns to messy chaos! The young audience is invited to a party where we discover why some people gravitate towards mess, whether anything can ever be ordered in the ‘right’ way and how balloons can create pandemonium!
Inspired by children’s desire to create order, patterns and systems in anything, Tidy Up is a witty and uplifting journey discovering if chaos and order can ever live side-by-side. With plenty of surprises, this is one unforgettable party!
The end of the week, Saturday 28 & Sunday 29 October, sees Penguin Blue, star of Rob Biddulph’s award-winning children’s book, brought to life at the egg in BLOWN AWAY. A trio of acrobatic penguins, magical puppetry and live music accompany Penguin Blue and his friends as they go on an acrobatic Antarctic adventure full of good ideas, homesickness and the perils of kites!
Tickets for both productions are on sale from the egg reception on 01225 823409, the Theatre Royal Box Office on 01225 448844 and online at www.theatreroyal.org.uk
