Folio Theatre Company, creators of the critically acclaimed ‘Unearthed’, which visited Bath in May 2015, will return in February with a new play, ‘Reel Life’, set on the banks of the River Avon.

‘Reel Life’, written by Somerset-born playwright & Royal Court young writer Alys Metcalf, addresses issues of love, loss and the healing power of imagination and friendship.

The production stars actress Lizzie Stables, who grew up in Bath and is best known for roles in ‘The Inbetweeners’ ‘Miranda’ ‘Doctors’ and ‘Holby City’.

Miss Stables is the Artistic Director of Folio Theatre Company, which she founded through a desire to champion local artists and create exciting new stories set in the contemporary rural South West. Their 5* debut show, ‘Unearthed’, was highly rated including by actor David Suchet OBE, who called it “poignant and heart-warming”.

‘Reel Life’ is showing at the Ustinov Studio, Theatre Royal Bath, on the 8th and 9th February, and at Trowbridge Arts on February 5th.
