Just a quickie… in case you missed the Smoke Signals, Twitter, Facebook, Carrier Pigeons…
‘The Last Post’, our hugely popular (slightly wonky) nostalgic love story about an itinerant postmaster and the irrepressible heiress of an international pen-palling agency, is back on the road.
Literally. Performances take place in a specially converted luton lorry, amid a 1000 items of undeliverable mail and a ‘harmony-drenched, melancholy-tinged’ live soundtrack.
Tickets are still available for the following forthcoming performances.
And if it all goes according to plan, Mobile Sorting Office 451 will also be opening its doors for you to trace your long-lost penpals and check out some of our latest low-carbon touring ideas at Bath Fringe Festival, Big Green Week (Bristol), Larmer Tree Festival, Towersey Festival and The Marine Theatre, Lyme Regis. Not all these events include full-scale performances – just FREE and easy song-singing & letter-writing!
So, no excuses to miss The Last Post!
Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our audiences have said: “like a wizard’s horde, an anorak’s obsession” “such a lovely show, beautifully paced” “a beautiful touching eulogy” ”you had me crying, laughing, smiling” “I want to see it again now!” “I don’t have the words to say how much I enjoyed this” “the best play I’ve ever seen” “wow wow wow” “you guys do what needs to be done but nobody else has the courage to do” “we are so lucky to have Kilter in Bath” “WOW WOW WOW!”
