CFBA Meeting & Social Event
Holburne Museum, Bath
Thursday 6 December, 18.00 – 20.00
All welcome – members and non-members
We look forward to seeing you next week when we will be meeting in the marvellous surroundings of the Holburne’s Picture Gallery and Ballroom.
The evening will begin with a short meeting, updating you on news and activities and in particular plans to develop the organisation and the range of services and support we can offer to members.
Our guest speaker is James Runcie, Director of the Bath Lit Fest, also film maker, author, theatre and television director and now Head of Literature at the Southbank Centre.
The evening will be rounded off with a glass of wine or two and a chance to catch up with other members.
We have a new date for ‘Thinking Big’, our event to bring Bath’s student, creative and cultural communities together – Wednesday 24 April at The Guildhall in Bath. More details on how to take part in the new year.
Another date for the diary – Wednesday 1 May for the second Bath City Conference, at which we would very much like to see a much higher profile for our sector.
Finally – we officially exist! No longer an unincorporated association, we are now formally a Community Interest Company. Thanks to all our members whose support and engagement with the CF has enabled us to grow and develop – we are now very much part of the civic and political life of the area, enabling us to speak for your interests – and most importantly, be heard.
