The end of January will see a very unique and special event staged at Batheaston Chuch Hall.

For the very first time in public, members from Greg Vere’s phenomenally successful former group, Music Youth Theatre Company, will be joining his award winning Encore Northenders Theatre Company to stage a powerful Charity Gala to celebrate the memory of someone who was a guiding light, tireless worker and much loved supporter of both groups over the years, Keith Butterworth, who sadly passed away in July 2013.

The Gala will run for four performances, full to the brim with comedy and music and compered by one of Bath’s favourite comedy duos- Avent & Monie with ALL proceeds being split between two very worthy causes that were very close to Keith’s heart- Dorothy House and the Batheaston New Village Hall Fund.

Musical Youth Theatre Company were a major force on the Bath theatre scene for over fifteen years, winning numerous awards, and with many of the members going on to achieve fame on TV, Film and the West End stage, many of whom have jumped at the chance of joining Encore for the Gala, some travelling from all over the country, and in one case, Australia.

Encore are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year, and have also been no slouches when it comes to winning awards, right from their very first production, and are a much loved part of Batheaston life.

Due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, a Saturday Matinee performance at 2.30pm has now been added. All evening performances at 7.30pm.

Tickets for all performances are selling out quickly. Make sure you don’t miss out on what promises to be superb entertainment, call the ticket hotline on ASAP on 01225 859023. Tickets are priced at £12 full price and £10 concessions.
