From the company that brought you the fantastical Christmas adventure The Blue Bird, Butterfly Psyche Theatre’s very special magic takes another path in this delicate and moving drama.
By popular demand we are proud to present our Spring 2014 tour of
The Persistence of Memory
written by Alison Farina and directed by Nancy Medina.
If memory came to visit, would you welcome her? Would you keep her secret? Would you offer her your memories? The Persistence of Memory examines the human condition with compassion and humour, focusing on memory and its creation of our identity.
Dante DeLucca is an ageing classics professor. He and his daughter Iphee must come to terms with his fading memory and how it will change their relationship. But they are not alone: with the unlikely appearance Mneme, the Muse of Memory, father and daughter find the strength to make the transition together.
