The NOVA project, sponsored by the Theatre Royal Bath’s Engage program, aims to encourage and develop new writing by staging ‘script-in-hand’ performances of brand new, un-produced plays.
The first outing of which is Winter Days by Tristan Harris, a graduate of the Bath Spa University MA course in Scriptwriting, which is being performed in the Ustinov Studio on Tuesday 8 Jan at 7pm.
The performance will be followed by a short discussion with the writer, director and actors to gain feedback for the play. There will also be details given out on the night about how and when to submit scripts for possible future development.
So, whether you are a writer, run a theatre company looking for potential new shows or just want to see some cracking new theatre come to the Ustinov Studio this Tuesday, the bar will be open from 6pm.
Also, check the Engage pages of TRB season brochure for details of the second NOVA performance Silence in the Studio by Robin Mukherjee.
