Bath’s award-winning choral octet have enjoyed a particularly busy 2014. Earlier in the year, the group were invited to Sarm studios in Notting Hill to work with Cathal Smyth (aka Chas Smash from Madness) on his debut solo album, A Comfortable Man and in May, they collaborated with the Royal British Legion and the choirs of Organum and Corsham Choral Society for their sellout concert of The Armed Man at Bath Abbey, which commemorated the centenary of the start of the First World War.

This Christmas, the group are bringing their brand of festive cheer to Burdall’s Yard.

The concert will start in the intimate Brewer’s Room, where they will perform the SATB arrangement of Britten’s Ceremony of Carols with harpist Kate Watt.

The second half will transport the audience to the informal setting of the Cavern, where the choir will showcase the first track of Karl Jenkins’ new Motets album, one of Morten Lauridsen’s Nocturnes as well as arrangements of White Christmas and Jingle Bells.

Noctis would like to thank Bath Spa Live for their New Brew grant which has enabled us to put on this concert.

Please note: This concert has already sold half of its tickets. Book soon to avoid disappointment.
