Positive Poetry: Twenty Something

Positive Poetry Presents

Created & Performed By Janey McLeod

Bath Fringe// 2nd June// Theatre Bus

Twenty Something is a series of emotive, comical and in part science-based poems woven together with snippets of stand-up and good news.

A one-person gig style show featuring local guest musicians. ‘Twenty Something’ takes us on the journey of a struggle to which we can all relate: figuring out life in our twenties. Through her words Janey paints a picture full of risk, courage, humour and ultimately a renewed hope that everything will, in fact, be okay in the end. – Daring to hope can powerfully ignite every aspect of life –

‘Janey Mcleod captured her audience with a tale of ambition and strength, with vividly emotive descriptions her stage presence and delivery were a comforting hug, while her words pulled at the heart provocatively’  – Buddy Carson, Stand Up For Lyricism –

‘Persuasive argumentation in a poem, it’s art and science combined. It’s brilliant!‘ – Andy Kind, Comedian & Author –
