selected to give you a flavour of the new voices in visual arts.

Helen Mirren stars in the real-life story of an octogenarian Jewish refugee who sets out to retrieve family possessions stolen by the Nazi’s 60 years earlier, including Gustav Klimt’s masterpiece Woman in Gold, which happens to be a portrait of her beloved aunt.

Local textile artist Jess Tanner will guide you using traditional weaving methods. You’ll use colourful yarns as well as seasonal natural materials gathered on a short outdoor walk from the arts centre.
