Evoking the sound of 1930s Paris, The Hot Club of Wiltshire brings you sizzling gypsy jazz tunes from the golden swing era. Since becoming artist-in-residence at The Pound in January 2016, Alex has been running monthly gypsy jazz jam sessions, from which the group has formed.

 

Exhibition: Big Stone and Rain – a response

This exhibition was originated by the Young Gallery in Salisbury which recently acquired John Piper’s Maen Bras (big stone and rain) for its permanent collection. The painting has been a prompt for a project exploring the theme of landscape with soldiers and young carers based in South Wiltshire.

The long gestating biopic of Michael “Eddie” Edwards, who followed his childhood dream to become Great Britain’s first Olympic ski-jumper.
