Young children who enjoy movement and dance are in for a treat when Commotion Dance visits the egg theatre for the first time with their brand new show READY OR NOT on Saturday 29th September. This fun-packed, interactive performance is suitable for youngsters aged 3 to 7 years.

Using movement, music and a host of imaginative props, the dance company creates a lively playground on stage. Their captivating and colourful performance shows children the nature of playing together, making friends, and how to share and trust one another, as well as encouraging individual play.

Led by artistic director Vicki Hargreaves, the team of five professional dancers also includes Rosa Kentwood, Lyndsey Walker, Lottie Selwyn and Aimee Symes. Together they create beautiful contemporary dance performances for young audiences, exploring topical themes and ideas significant to young people today through their compelling and thought-provoking work.  Each of the company members has a wealth of experience in both performing and teaching contemporary dance. After a recent performance at the Cultural Olympiad in Weymouth this summer, they visit the egg theatre as part of a UK tour.

Commotion Dance is an associate company of The Point, Eastleigh and supported by Arts Council England.

READY OR NOT appears at the egg theatre on Saturday 29th September.  Tickets priced at £7.50 or £6.50 for children, are available from the Theatre Royal Bath Box Office on 01225 448844, the egg reception on 01225 823 409 or online via
