With two weeks of its run still remaining, the current Ustinov Studio production, The Mentor, starring Hollywood legend and Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham, has already become the best-selling production in Ustinov Studio history. The show must end on Saturday 6th May.

The Mentor, by acclaimed German writer Daniel Kehlmann, has surpassed the mark for ticket sales set by Kenneth Cranham’s Olivier Award-winning performance in The Father, and Alun Armstrong’s appearance in Exit The King, and earned a raft of exceptional reviews from national press and ecstatic audiences.
As well as high praise for the performances from F.Murray Abraham, Daniel Weyman, Naomi Frederick and Jonathan Cullen, the national critics have applauded artistic director Laurence Boswell’s continued commitment to bringing international premieres to Bath.

***** “Who would have predicted that Bath would become an international dramatic hub? Under Laurence Boswell’s direction, the Ustinov has produced some of the most outstanding plays of the past five years: Intimate Apparel (from the US), The Father (from France), now from Germany, The Mentor.” Susannah Clapp, The Observer
Under Laurence Boswell’s direction since 2011, the Ustinov Studio has earned national acclaim for its themed seasons devoted to UK Premieres of plays including those from The Spanish Golden Age, the USA and Europe, newly-commissioned adaptations of novels and French Farce.

“The Ustinov – under Laurence Boswell’s inspired directorship – is in a golden period” Whatsonstage

The Mentor is at the Ustinov Studio until Saturday 6th May. Availability is strictly limited. Tickets are on sale now from the Box Office on 01225 448844 or online at
