The Ministry of Burlesque’s Twisted Cabaret –

Halloween Special

Friday 31st October

Doors 6.30pm, Show 8.30pm

The Ministry Of Burlesque’s Twisted Cabaret showcases the very best of true burlesque – a high camp provocative blend of new variety, historical chic and contemporary cabaret. Dazzling, daring and beguiling, expect to experience a vision of scantily attired showgirls, whimsical satirists, the sultriest of sirens, the edgiest musical-comedy masters, unexpected marvels and a feast of current puns.

Friday 31st October Line- up:

Ria Lina – Host

Winner of the EMMA Award for Best Comedian, Ria Lina makes an impact with her dry wit and bawdy ukulele songs, having been a regular in stand-up comedy for the past 13 years both in the UK and abroad.

“engaging, endearing and eye-opening” Time Out

“The audience found themselves gasping one minute and laughing uncontrollably the next. If there’s a prize for stinging comic delivery then Lina would take gold every time.”

The Great Voltini – Electrocution Show

‘The Great Voltini’, proprietor of the world’s funniest electrocution show, first came to the attention of the public when, in July 2002, he appeared on ‘V Graham Norton’; shooting 500,000 volts up his arse and lighting a petrol soaked fire torch held in Grahams hand with sparks from his fingers…

“How amazing is that!”Graham Norton

Hello Halloween!

Winter has few benefits, and Halloween sits very high up the list. The ugly, dishevelled, and much worse behaved sibling to Christmas – there are few other opportunities to delve into your darker side.

For this Friday frenzy we’ll be pulling out all the stops, and taking over Komedia for a night or roots reggae, storming soul, and rattlin’ rock n roll. Music will be coming in two parts, from the scariest DJs on our roster, and of course, from our amazing live band. The exact details of the band are still TBC, but stay posted.

What is Itchy Feet?

If you’re not familiar to Itchy Feet – welcome!

In Summary, we’re a collective of DJs and events people who spend our time touring around the UK throwing parties. We got bored of listening to the same old tunes, or going to weird nights that were focused all the wrong things, and decided to host our own.

Since the attic we launched in, on a Leeds backstreet in 2007, a lot has changed, but not the basic premise – all you need for a great party, is awesome music, and awesome people.

Most importantly – our music is different. Funk, Soul, Rock n Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Reggae and Ska – at Itchy Feet – it’s all about the old.

How about the Tickets?

This show will cost £8 to get in, and will run until 3am.
