Have you ever wanted to apply for Arts Council England funding but weren’t sure if you were eligible? Are you unsure of the difference between National Lottery Project Grants and Developing Your Creative Practice grants?

Do you want to know what grants are currently available and how to apply?

Theatre Bath is hosting an advice session, including a presentation from Arts Council South West Relationship Manager, Sophie Moysey, who will talk about the role of Arts Council England in supporting artists, the funding streams available, and the process of making an application.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions, which we encourage you to submit in advance. This event is aimed at artists from Bath, Wiltshire and Somerset who have never approached Arts Council England for funding before, and will be tailored specifically for new applicants and those working across different art forms.

We are particularly interested in ensuring that this information reaches those who are currently underrepresented in the creative and cultural sectors and those who live outside large cities or towns with well-developed cultural networks. And so, in order to improve access to those from these underrepresented communities and who have not accessed Arts Council funding before, please consider these factors before you book and consider how you could share this opportunity more widely.
