The Little@Komedia will be screening the classic film Casablanca on Thursday 14th February as a Valentines Special. Couples can dine in Komedia’s award-winning Arts Cafe followed by a screening of the film.

Komedia Bath and The Little Theatre Cinema’s partnership, the Little@Komedia, will be showing a Valentine’s Special screening of the classic romantic film Casablanca on Valentine’s night (Thursday 14th February).

Couples (either established or potential!) are welcome from 6pm for bubbly and nibbles on arrival before enjoying an intimate two-course meal in Komedia’s award-winning Arts Café, before the screening of Casablanca begins at 8pm.

The 1942 film stars Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman and Paul Henreid, and won three Academy Awards including Best Picture, whilst being nominated for a further five. Set during World War II, the story focuses on a man torn between love and virtue, and its iconic characters, quotes, and theme song has ensured the film ranks near the top of lists of greatest films of all time.

Martin Jennings-Wright, Manager of The Little Theatre Cinema spoke about his love of the film:

“What can be better than classic Bogey and Bergman? We’re delighted to be showing Casablanca on Valentines night, and I imagine every seat to be filled – from the front, all the way to the more daring couples on the back row!”

Lark Porter, Venue Manager at Komedia Bath, was also excited about the evening:

“This is a night for the romantic in us all – Casablanca is arguably the most romantic film ever made! A delicious Komedia meal and film at the Little@Komedia is a match made in heaven, and I hope that lots of couples will join us on the night.”

Tickets (including two course meal and bubbly) are priced at £60 per couple, and are only available in person from The Little Theatre Cinema’s box office or via the booking line on 0871 902 5735.
